Lovely Blush for Fall

I know, I know, pink blush or dusty rose are not autumn colors but I could not resist leaving these items at the store.

I mean someone else could have gotten them and Lord knows I can’t allow that 🙂 But the good thing is all of these lovely items were at great prices. So great that sharing is a must.

I picked up this coat at Old Navy. It is called the Wool Blend Everyday Coat.
I managed to get it in pink. Yeah me!

Now, these I just adore! They are so comfortable and chic.
And the price is glorious! They are called the Sam & Libby Omni Ghillie Pump.

Aren’t these fantastic? I picked these up at Ninewest.
They are called the Fault Kitten Heels. Super comfortable and super chic!

The shawl that I have with it is from H & M.
It is called the Woven Scarf.  It is very large and comfortable.

It has been a wonderful month of “pink” finds. I have really enjoyed it.

My birthday was on the 28th of September. I love these flowers from my husband.

He does such a good job! Notice my shoes under the table. I do enjoy our bedroom.
Remember to enjoy your life and live it according to your beauty.

Charmed by Charlie ~ 2

Finding beautiful things is always fun! So I was really excited when I walked into the Charming Charlie store in the Florida Mall and found these two great accessories.

This is the Wallaby Mama Bag in Bag tote. It is a great size and the perfect pink blush color! Oh gosh, I just love it! The bumble bee brooch is from Banana Republic. I wrote about it here.

The second item that I bought was this hummingbird brooch.
And I could not resist their Royal Bee Brooch

Charming Charlie is a great place to get wonderful accessories at great prices! The brooches were only $10 each! Seriously,….. it’s just great! I hope you check out their site or their gorgeous store. If you want to read part 1 of Charmed by Charlie see it here.
Enjoy!

Vintage from Tradesy

I love buying vintage pieces especially accessories! I made another purchase from Tradesy.  I purchased another Louis Vuitton of course and a pair of vintage Chanel earrings.

I had the earrings on my “Love list” since last year. I am so happy that I was able to purchase them this time!

I am very pleased with my earrings and the seller sent the original box, velvet bag and shopping bag with the Chanel camellia flower! It was a pleasant surprise.
The second item that I purchased was this vintage 1980’s Louis Vuitton. It is in excellent condition.

It is a nice large size and you can tell it is built to last. I purchased my first Louis Vuitton from Tradesy last year. You can read about it here.
My experience with Tradesy has been wonderful so far. If you want a nice Louis Vuitton bag and don’t mind it being used then Tradesy might be the site for you!

Floral at Ann Taylor

A few weekends ago my husband and I took a trip to Carmel, Indiana. Now Carmel is like the Beverly Hills of Indiana. It is very beautiful and all the nice stores are located there. They have a gorgeous Ann Taylor store.

We don’t have any Ann Taylor stores left in the city but Carmel does. So, of course, I walked in and saw these gorgeous floral earrings. It was very hard for me to pass them up….

Me in the earrings. I love!

Pick them up now before they vanish! Incredibly chic!

Enjoy!

The Bee Brooch

I love a good brooch! Especially a vintage one. I have been on the look out for a “bug” brooch for sometime now and I found a small one at Banana Republic see here. But something in my gut told me to go back for another visit and I am glad that I did. I found the perfect bee brooch….

Here are both of my brooches from Banana Republic. Incredibly chic aren’t they?
Hurry on over and get your brooch today!

What I Learned About Pearls

I love pearls and I have said that over and over on the blog. I have learned quite a bit about this glorious jewelry statement piece. What I learned is that they are timeless, chic, and make any outfit look wonderful and they get better with age. I recently read this simple yet informative list from Matchbook Magazine about what you should know about pearls.

Freshwater pearls: come in all shapes and sizes and a wide variety of colors.

Me with my freshwater pearls that I got from Von Maur last year, see here.
Saltwater Akoya Pearls: are round, pinkish in color, and known for their luster.

Tahitian Pearls: range in color from inky-black to bluish-silvery white.

Golden South Sea Pearls:  are rare and lustrous with warm and golden tones.

Now pearl necklace lengths are something else you should know.

Collar: 12-13 inches

Choker: 14-16 inches

Princess: 17-19 inches

Matinee: 20-25 inches

Opera: 35-36 inches

Rope: 37 inches

Cultured pearls are “induced” in the shell and Natural pearls grow naturally. I hope you have enjoyed this list. Understanding this little bit of information can help you to pick out the best pearls for you. Thanks for reading!

My Current Wish List at Von Maur

I have talked about this store before but I am just such a huge fan of Von Maur that I have to share my “wish list” from them. I went in a couple of weekends ago to look around. I found a few great items that I want.

I always create a mental wish list in my head from this store and take photos. By the grace of God I have been able to complete every wish list there! It is fantastic! The customer service is wonderful and the products are good quality. Here are a few of my current favorites….

I love this ginger jar!!! It was only $50!

This smells delightful!

I love these shoes and ended up buying them!

I ended up buying this one in black! It reminds me of the Prada Saffiano tote with the double zip.

And of course this has nothing to do with my list at Von Maur but I just love this bouquet that was in my office this week! I hope you enjoyed my dream list and start your own soon!
Be chic!
