The Madame

I did quite a bit of shopping while in South Carolina. One place we visited while walking on Main Street in Myrtle Beach was The Wildflower. It is a vintage boutique that carries lots of different things. The owner is a “picker” and goes to a lot of estate sales.

The one thing that caught my eye was the statue below. I have wanted one of these for sometime now. I saw one of my favorite designers Tobi Fairley with something like this in her living room and she put her Chanel pearls on it and I thought that was just fantastic!

Below are some of the items I saw and the statue that I purchased. I call her “The Madame”. I also posted the decorating video from Tobi Fairly and P. Allen Smith that gave me this idea. Have a great weekend!

My statue called “The Madame”. I only paid $20 for her.
I put my Chanel pearls on her too!!

She had beautiful seashells. I loved this one.
It reminded me of the seashells that Aerin Lauder has in her home.

She had loads and loads of vintage earrings.
Of course I purchased a pair.

The last pair with the blue is the pair I purchased from her.

What great finds! I love the statue with the pearls, so chic. The vintage earrings are beautiful. I went to an antique store yesterday and seen loads of beautiful vintage earrings. I really should have purchased a pair. I ended up buying a silver plated vanity brush, comb and mirror set. It needs a little cleaning, but I know it will look gorgeous once it's all cleaned up. I'm so happy you enjoy visiting South Carolina. My husband is from South Carolina and we moved here just over two years ago. It's a great state full of history, charm, good southern food and sweet tea. Have a wonderful day.

Oh I love South Carolina. My husband asked me if I could live there and I said YES!! We would be 2 1/2 hours away from Savannah, Georgia. I would be close to North Carolina because I really want to visit the Biltmore Estates. Not to mention it is warm. There are so many pluses to living there. I can't want to see your brush set. Also, I am still waiting on your Instagram page…. 🙂
