A Target Run ~ Part 2

And it is Friday…. already. This week went by really fast. As I stated in Wednesday’s post I am in the office this week and next. I have forgotten how to be in the office all week. Boy, it’s a lot but it’s going well.

I know some of you may have started decorating for Christmas and so of you may have not. I have started and finished. That’s another reason why I am so exhausted but I am very pleased with how it turned out. I do want to share a few items that I saw at Target recently.

I loved all of the picks and organic looking faux flowers. Everything looked so rich this year and real. I have been changing a lot of my decor. I want simple and elegant. I threw away a lot of hodgepodge items.

I purchased a hand full of these flocked pine stems from Target. They look so wonderful with my velvet poinsettias at home.

Also found all of these wonderful candles. The peppermint dream candle and apple cinnamon joy candle looked wonderful.

There were pillows galore! This one is my favorite.

These gold standing reindeer are the epitome of Christmas elegance. I had to grab some for my dining room table. They are outstanding centerpieces.

I have been seeing these clear bottle vases everywhere. Not really my cup of tea but they are lovely.

Beautiful wreaths all down the aisle. They look so life-like and chic.

Once I got home I could not wait to put my flocked pine stems with my velvet poinsettias. This is one of my favorite Christmas arrangements I have ever made.

I just adore my reindeer…..

And I finally got a flocked Christmas tree! I love my tree you guys! It turned out so well. I actually put all of my Barbie ornaments on this tree. I would love to buy a second one but we will see.

I am really enjoying decorating this season. I took my time this year. I didn’t want to rush through everything. I am trying to find my “holiday style”. It is changing. I want more order in my decorating and ornaments. I will share more with you guys later. Enjoy your weekend!

Good morning! It's interesting how our holiday style can change over time. I was excited to see this post because I have been browsing the Christmas selection at Target online. I have not purchased anything yet, but I've been looking at a few things including a faux boxwood wreath and a 3ft artificial tree in a basket. I think I might see it in your 2nd picture, so that is helpful because there aren't any review pictures online yet. While we're talking Christmas, have you watched any Hallmark Christmas movies yet? I've seen 3 of their new ones so far. My favorite being On the 12th Date of Christmas. It is wonderful to relax and put one of those movies on.

      Hello Kelsie,
I agree! As I was reviewing all of my Christmas decor I thought, "now why in the world do I have this". More bogus shopping again. I am glad to see that my photo helped. Seeing actually photos of products always helps me as well. I have been watching Hallmark Christmas movies. I love the Bramble House one, Christmas Everlasting, Coming Home for Christmas, A Christmas Bride, Everyday is Christmas, Borrowed Hearts, etc. I have so many favorites. I am actually looking forward to watching a Timeless Christmas tonight! I hope it's good. Have a great Sunday!

    Hi Mrs. Shockley,

Ohhh..You're posting about the holidays! Yay! Oh I love that flocked tree. And I just read the reviews-so many people are loving it. I ordered it as well for pick up tomorrow morning. I will be using it in my dining room. I have been wanting to add a tree there. Thanks so much for the share. Will you be using the BHG heritage dinnerware again this year?

    Have a fantastic weekend,

    Mya

      Hi Mya,
I LOVE my flocked tree. I want another one so bad! You ordered it too? Did you from the blog? If so I hope you love it! Yes I have already pulled out my plates and have been using them. I must say that I love Jennifer Scott's plates from her recent video. Those are gorgeous! eBay here I come!

I did try to use the link, however I got an error message from Walmart, "Unable to process your request ". Very strange. Yet when I went to Walmart.com, I had no issues with the purchase -it's pick up only here in Central Pennsylvania.
