Going back down memory lane. This was my 1st full year following the blog. The 100 ways to be elegant and the opening of the boutique were my favorite. The Maxine dress has been my favorite piece to wear. Wish it had more colors, I’d buy them all. I’ve loved everything you’ve curated for the boutique. It’s been a great joy for me ????

Oh my goodness! This is your first year? How wonderful. I do have a question. How did you find the blog? I am always curious about how people find me.
I am so glad to hear that you love the Maxine and thank you so much for your review. I think that helps people with making a decision. My vendor does have it in other colors. I wanted to see how it would sell first. Thank you so much for supporting my boutique. We will see how year 2 goes. Fingers crossed!

    Hi Mrs. Shockley,

Hope you’re have a good weekend. Thank you for compiling the top posts for the year. I am always going back and reading your old posts. For me, your blog is like that book that you always go back to for reminders. And the images you share with the blogs enhance the experience. My favorites are the 100 ways to be elegant- I printed that and keep it in my day designer, Loving your season, and Things I savor in life. I also love when you share photos of different areas of your home. I appreciate that you have a beautiful elegant home, yet you are real too. I still chuckle about when you shared your husband has a stack of junk on your kitchen island. Sounds like my husband too.. lol.

    Talk soon,

    Mya

Thank you so much Mya for being a longtime reader and friend. I printed the 100 Ways to be Elegant as well and have it in my Day Designer.
Having an elegant home is so important to me but with that, you also have to be honest with people. Like that fact that my husband still has a pile of junk on the counter! It’s still there Mya, still there.
