October Favorites ~ 2026

Well, there goes October! Goodness, this month flew by! I had to sit and think for a minute about whether I even had any favorites to share, but here we are! This month has been a mix of trying to keep my sleep schedule on track, printing lists and getting organized for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and doing a little antique shopping. It’s been a bit of this and a bit of that, but I’m excited to share what I’ve been loving this month. So, let’s get into my October favorites!

This is my autumn table setting for this year! I used the same blue and white pumpkins paired with my Brandon Maxwell tablecloth. I’ve linked a similar one here. I love layering pieces to create a beautiful tablescape. It catches the eye and adds so much depth, texture, and interest to the table.

Speaking of pumpkins, I couldn’t resist this beautiful wine-colored one I found at HomeGoods. And it came with a brooch, too! I thought this was such a brilliant idea and a fabulous way to repurpose your brooches. So, if you have velvet pumpkins and vintage brooches, why not combine the two? It’s such a simple way to add a little sparkle and personality to your autumn decor!

Guess what I got to see this month? The Lion King on Broadway! I can hardly believe it! I’ve been waiting so long for this incredible production to come to my city. I believe the last time it was here was back in 2009, so it was definitely worth the wait!

I absolutely loved it. The costumes were breathtaking, the talent was phenomenal, and the entire company was a delight to watch. Every detail made the experience so special. I went with my husband, my coworker, and her husband, and we had the most wonderful time together. What an unforgettable evening! 🦁✨

Later this month, I headed to my Mahjong studio and played a few games with my friend Minju. We also made plans for an afternoon tea date! I just love these little elegant adventures that make everyday life feel extra special. 🫖

Speaking of elegance, I found this gorgeous Gucci shopper on Poshmark! The seller specializes in transforming exclusive designer shopping bags into beautiful totes. I’ve received so many compliments on this bag, and honestly, it looks like a work of art. I love finding unique pieces like this that combine creativity, luxury, and a little bit of everyday glamour!

More elegant adventures followed as I headed down to Brown County to spend the day with some girlfriends. We explored the artist tour, admired the beautiful local artwork, and enjoyed lunch at a wonderful restaurant. The menu was delightful, with delicious pumpkin soup, quiche, and pies!

Along the way, we took in the gorgeous fall foliage as the trees turned brilliant shades of red, orange, and gold. There is something so special about spending a beautiful autumn day surrounded by nature, art, and wonderful friends. It was truly a lovely day filled with friendship, beauty, and a few elegant adventures!

The last photo is a view from my downtown office. Having a little beauty around me each day is a reminder of how important it is to find joy in the little things. There is so much happening in the world, and I believe we have to make a conscious effort to surround ourselves with beauty wherever we can. I hope you’ll do the same.

I hope you’ve enjoyed a few of my favorite moments from October! I’ll do my best to stay on schedule, but lately, I’ve been learning to give myself permission to take a day off from everything. No expectations, no pressure—just time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the moment. I hope you’ll give yourself that same grace, too.

And one more thing! My latest newsletter will be landing in your inboxes soon.
