Glitter Heels at Payless

It’s that time of the year where glitter heels are in style!! Well, glitter heels are always in style for me. I will wear them year round. Just ask my co-workers!!

I always walk through the mall on my lunch hour and take a sneak peak at what new glitter heels will be available for purchasing. Surprisingly enough I was walking by Payless Shoe Source and saw these beauties in the window.

I thought, Huh! Wow, these are gorgeous! I had to have them. I have been wearing them all week and have gotten nothing but beautiful compliments. If you are a glitter heel lover then check out these at your local Payless or online. They come in 4 different colors. Enjoy!!!!

The Snowflake Brooch

Last Christmas Talbots has a snowflake brooch that was just absolutely sensational and like an idiot, I waited to get it. Sure enough, it sold out!!

I was so bummed!! So for this autumn season, I wanted to make sure that did not happen again. So I went into our local store to check and see if they had received any and to call me as soon as they did.

They called and I hurried in there to put one on hold. The “friends and family” sale is this Thursday and I will be able to get it for 30% off!! I am so excited to finally have my brooch. It has been a long wait.

6pm.com ~ A Shoe Haven

I am such a girly, girl. I love everything about being woman and I am sorry to mention that shopping can be one of the bad habits that a girly, girl can have.

I love shoes but finding them recently has been a pain. I love shoes that I can wear on the weekends as well as work. I am not a tennis shoe person. I only wear those when I am working out.

I don’t like these horrid platforms that they have out now. I don’t understand how those can be comfortable or elegant. But everyone likes what they like so let’s move on.

I found a great website while shoe hunting last year. It is called 6pm.com. All of the prices are reasonable and if there was a shoe that you didn’t want to pay full price for at the store, you may be able to find it on this website. I would strongly suggest you visit it. I love it and ordering shoes from this site has just been a wonderful experience.

I just ordered these. They are the Calvin Klein leather heel.

I only paid $37!!! It was free shipping. How good does that sound?

Early Fall Favorites ~2015

Now that fall is officially here it is time to start taking a peek at fall fashion and accessories. I am sorry but I love the fall!!!! Nothing wrong with summer but it is just too hot for me!

Finding classic, elegant shoes has been a job for the last few months. I really didn’t find to many sandals that I loved or heels but I stumbled on some great slip~ ins a few months ago.

I did a search on Google for leopard shoes and found these great slip~ in mules at Target!! I love them!! They are so comfortable and they go with everything. The price was reasonable and I adore them. I grab them on the weekends and run my errands and I still look great!

The second item that I love is this Anya Faux-Fur Snood from Chico’s. It is so chic and I can see myself wearing it with some of my classic white shirts and pearls.

Recently, I purchased a pair of Gucci sunglasses and fresh water pearls. I waited 1 year to purchase the pearls and 5 years to purchase the Gucci sunglasses. I saw Sandra Bullock wear a pair of incredibly chic Gucci sunglasses in the movie called the “Blind Side”.

And last but certainly not least my next fall favorite is my Louis Vuitton Sac Plat tote. I purchased this a few months ago and I love it. I have always wanted a Louis Vuitton and I purchased my bag from Tradesy. I wrote about it a few months ago, see it here if you missed it.

Buying Luxury Bags

I started buying designer bags around 2010. I was influenced by my mother in law. I had just attended a giant flea market and of course, they were selling replica handbags. I purchased about 4 replica Coach bags. I was so excited about these purchases that I wanted to show my mother in law.

She looked at the bags and asked how much I had paid for them. I told her and she looked at me and said, ” For what you spent on these four bags you could have taken your money and added about $50 more and purchased the real thing”. When she said that it hit me like a ton of bricks because honestly, she was right.

The quality of the replica bags does not and can never compare to the “real” thing. So I took my mother in law’s advice and started purchasing quality handbags. That was 5 years ago and I have not looked back since. I love having my higher quality handbags.

I have Coach, 3 Kate Spade, 3 Michael Kors, and one Dooney & Bourke. I have recently added Louis Vuitton to my collection!!! I am so excited about my Louis!!! My grandmother had them in the 80’s but when she died in 1999 her bags came up missing. We still don’t know where they are to this day.

Tradesy helped me in accomplishing my goal of owning a Louis Vuitton. Tradesy is a company that allows sellers and buyers to purchase and sell designer accessories. Tradesy stands by their company policy which is ” knockoff’s are a no, no”! I spoke with a rep twice before making my purchase. I also communicated with the seller. She was absolutely wonderful. The process was easy and the payment arrangements are great! If you visit Tradesy and have your eye on a beautiful handbag you don’t have it pay it all at once. You can opt for the payment plan option with Affirm.

It is painless and easy. I highly recommend it if that is the way you want to go. But I do want to say that it is credit driven so if all is well in that arena for you then start your payment plan and enjoy your luxury handbag!

It is from 2008 and in wonderful condition.

Tips for Great Style

After I read a book I always go through it again for a recap. While scrolling through Jennifer L. Scott’s book Lessons from Madame Chic I stumbled upon some tips she gave for dressing well. I love these simple yet truthful tips. I can honestly say that I think this way every time I dress myself. Enjoy the tips!

~ Only wear clothes because you love them, they look great on you, and they reflect who you are.

~ Define your true style to help guide you when shopping.

~ Think of how you want to present yourself to the world every time you get dressed.

~ Listen to your instinct about your style. Deep down you know if something works or doesn’t work.
