Well the holidays are upon us and I always like to have a few statement necklaces to wear. Below are some of my recent finds for this season….

I found this necklace at Talbots for $26!

Poinsettia Accessories

I love thrift store shopping. I look at everything! Now since the holidays are approaching everything “Christmasie” is being put out. I have been inspired to look for poinsettia brooches. I have been fortunate enough to find two.

One I found on Ebay and the other at a near by thrift store. The thrift store has tons of old “grandma” brooches. If you are on the hunt for one I would encourage you to visit your nearest thrift store. Great treasures await!

I love this poinsettia brooch! I found it at a thrift store for $3!
Superb!
(The gray polish is great to!)
I found this poinsettia brooch on Ebay last year! Very festive!

These are the matching earrings to the poinsettia brooch.
The combination looks great together!!
I only paid $7.99 for both!

Glitter Heels

I love, love glitter heels! I think they are so much fun and should not be worn just around the holidays! I wear my glitter heels all the time. I especially love wearing them and seeing the little girl’s faces! They always stare at my shoes and then look up at me and smile.

I love it! You can really add some sparkle to your outfit. I usually keep my outfit very plain and chic. I will wear a white blouse, black skirt, pearls and then my glitter heels. It looks great and people stop me all the time. If you can’t find a pair Ebay is a great place to start.

If you have a pair pull them out and wear them. Remember to always wear your best!

My Adrienne Vittadini glitter heels. I found them on Ebay last year for about $30!

This is my second pair of glitter heels. I purchased these at DSW about 2 years ago.
They are from the Ferglicious line.

This is my third pair. I found these at DSW but they sold out so I got the name and
searched for them on Ebay last year and found them!!!

These are my dream glitter heels. These are by Kate Spade.
Fantastic aren’t they?

Schweitzer Linens

I stumbled on this company  Schweitzer Linens while reading the latest issue of Harper Bazaar. I had to go to the website and find out what this linen company was all about.

What I found was a company who sells gorgeous items! They sell everything from bed, bath, table, cashmere and tapestries. Everything is beautiful. Schweitzer Linen is a high quality luxury company that is based in Manhattan, NY and has been in business for 40 years.

Take a look at their website or request a catalog. Below are photos of some of my favorite finds from the company. Enjoy!!

This one is my favorite!

Dream Accessories I Adore

I believe every girl has a list in her mind of a few accessories she would love to get her hands on if money were not an issue. I know I have a few. But Pinterest has been the way of “claiming” these dream items until they become a reality.

I am trying to remain positive and hope that someday I will own at least 8 of these items on my dream list. I have a board on Pinterest called Feminine Accessories. It’s where I keep all my dream treasures for now. Below are the items I would love to own someday. Lastly, I have included a link from Trina Leavers. She tells what items she believes should be apart of our wardrobe. I love the video! For every item she includes I scream “Yes” on the inside! Enjoy!

This is me with my Escada scarf I found at the consignment store.
I was so proud!!

Oh the Tiffany pearls are a foundation statement in any wardrobe.

The Louis Vuitton bag. I have been after one for years!!! My grandmother actually had a few but they vanished after her funeral.

Autumn Style Inspiration

Oh, the season of cold is upon us. I hope we get a “fall” this year. Our autumns here have been cut short so I am hoping to get a good long one this year. Our summer hasn’t been all that good. It has rained a lot here in Indiana.

But since September is coming (my birthday month) I have been looking at photos on Pinterest and getting inspired. I have a fashion board called Magnolia on Pinterest. It’s where I keep all of my outfit inspiration photos. I pulled a few from my board that are just “singing” to me right now. So take a look and let the photos inspire you to get fashionable ready for fall. Also if you missed my blog entry about Street Chic here it is. Enjoy!
