Kate Spade Bow Tote ~ A Recent Purchase
It has been years since I have purchased a straw purse. I saw this at my favorite store and thought this would be so chic to have for the summer.

I am sure most of you have heard of Poshmark. If you have not then you might be missing out. Poshmark is an online website where you can list items from your closet that you do not want anymore and would like to make some extra cash.
I have been a member since 2013 and have never listed anything. I was recently thinking about all of the nice items that I just drop off at the Goodwill and a friend reminded me of Poshmark. So I took the chance and listed some of the items.
I was a bit nervous. I was worried about shipping and package accessories for my items if they sold. But Poshmark has made everything so easy. Once you make a sale (I DID) they then email you the pre-paid shipping label. You print it out and place it on the box and ship it! So easy! If you need boxes or shipping supplies go to your local post office and they have priority boxes for free!!!
I must admit I have been selling for a week on Poshmark and I love it! Here are some of the items that I have for sale on my page.

If you have been reading my blog then you know that visiting Laduree is one of the favorite things to do while on vacation. If there is a store near by you can believe that I will be making a visit.
But I did not know that there were two locations in Washington! There is a small store front at the Union Station and my husband found a lovely store in Georgetown. We went on a great day. The weather was nice and the evening was gorgeous!

Along with seeing Julia Child’s kitchen I got to see some beautiful clothes owned by some famous women. I took a stroll through the fashion world of America’s First Ladies.

It’s been about three weeks since we have been to D.C. and I still can not get over the fact that they shut the city down for 4 inches of snow! I could not believe it! But in all fairness I am from Indiana so I guess I would not understand seeing that. We have to have almost 15 inches before our city will shut down anything.
So the government shut down during my training and I had a snow day! Only it was not your normal snow day. Everything was CLOSED! The closure even included stores and restaurants! So what were we to do in our nations capital? I certainly did not want to stay in our hotel for the whole day so I called around and found out that only two museums were open. One was the National Museum of American History. So we decided to go and spend some time there. The only thing was so did everyone else in the city!!!!
It was so crowded but we made the best of it and walked around….

Now I was not sure if we would get this on our list but we made it to the National Portrait Gallery. This was our first visit here and like the National Gallery of Art it was a beautiful place to visit.

This is one of the most beautiful art museums that I have ever visited. I could come back again and again to this place. Especially when you walk in and see this…..
