A Few French Beauty Ideas…

Hello!

I don’t know about you, but I am hoping to get to the grocery store quickly this weekend. With the 2024 Eclipse hitting my state entirely on Monday, I have a feeling that people are going to be EVERYWHERE! I know that I should be excited, but I am not. I hate extremely large crowds. I just want to get what I need and then get back home!

So…. let’s move on. How about a little Friday beauty? I hope you all enjoyed my recent post about my beauty favorites. I was excited to update that. It’s been a while since I shared my favorite products.

While I was finishing up the book Joie, I saw that the author shared her favorite beauty products and what the French women use and wear in France. I wanted to share this list with all of you. You may find it quite interesting…

This is a fabulous list of goodies to try out. Most of these I have never heard of. The only product that I have heard of is Shailmar. Do any of you have this? I have always been curious about it since I heard Sigourney Weaver mention it in Working Girl. I shared other French Beauty secrets on the blog.

Let me know in the comments section below if you have tried any of these products. Have a great weekend, enjoy the eclipse (if you choose), and we’ll chat soon! Oh a new plus size dress will be on the website soon!

Don’t we all just love a beauty list! I own a bottle of Guerlain Shalimar EDP and it’s not for the faint of heart. It’s definitely an acquired taste. I would describe the EDP as leathery with a tone of incense with a subtle powdery dry down. The EDT version is a bit lighter in my opinion. Shalimar is a powerful fragrance that commands the room in a sophisticated manner. Not a blind buy.

      Hello!
I hope you and the family are doing well! Thank you for giving your insight on Shalimar. I thought about getting a sample online somewhere before I would purchase a bottle. This scent does not seem like a blind buy but I have ALWAYS been curious about it. Thank you!
